ZANOTTA AND ZAVEN: RENEWED SYNERGIES GIVE RISE TO V-BOL AND LOW BOL

Small tables Low Bol by Zaven for Zanotta

Nova Milanese, July 2025 - Zanotta strengthens its creative dialogue with the Venetian duo Zaven, renewing a collaboration that continues to generate projects capable of integrating formal innovation, design coherence and conceptual vision.

In this new chapter of the collaboration, the Low Bol coffee tables and the V-Bol vase collection take shape—two new pieces inspired by the iconic rounded, convex form that defines the legs of the renowned Bol table.

The Low Bol small tables offer a fresh interpretation of the Bol table’s distinctive design language, echoing the signature concave shape of its legs, here reimagined as a monolithic and sculptural form. Available in two sizes (60x38 cm and 60x28 cm), the Low Bol tables are dynamic, versatile elements that can be freely combined to create ever-changing compositions. The rigid polyurethane frame, available in either a glossy or matte finish, comes in talc, hemp, caramel, amaranth, and espresso tones.

The V-Bol vases also reflect the iconic shape of the Bol table’s legs, transforming it into decorative objects that are both elegant and functional. The collection comprises four variants – two tall and narrow (16x37 cm and 16x29 cm), and two shorter and wider (26x15 cm and 26x9 cm) – made of polished glazed clay in shades of pink, dark blue, red and burgundy. Each vase is designed to be combined with the others, offering endless possibilities for creating refined and harmonious arrangements.

“We often work with ceramics: it’s an inert material, yet it allows us – and in this case has allowed us – to create a unique object, produced through a process that lies somewhere between craftsmanship and mechanical production. There is always an element of uniqueness in ceramic work that greatly appeals to us, and that makes each piece special. The shape of the vases, combined with the colour, captures and reflects light in unexpected ways,” say Enrica Cavarzan and Marco Zavagno, Co-founders of Zaven.

With these new creations, Zanotta reaffirms its commitment to supporting and enhancing the design vision of its collaborators. The company continues to promote a design culture that embraces innovation without sacrificing coherence, shaping furnishings and accessories that interpret the domestic space in original and meaningful ways.
