ZANOTTA BRINGS ITS DISTINCTIVE LANGUAGE TO THE NIGHT-TIME SPACE, MERGING COMFORT AND EXPRESSIVE DESIGN

Za:Za Bed by Zaven and Z24 785 by Muller Van Severen for Zanotta

Nova Milanese, November 2025Zanotta continues its exploration of contemporary living with a total-look approach that now embraces the night area, conceived as a space devoted to rest and well-being, yet equally to the expression of personal style and character.

With Za:Za Bed by Zaven and the new Z24 collection of chests of drawers by Muller Van Severen, the brand extends its vision of the home with pieces that combine comfort and design authorship, achieving a refined balance between coherence and experimentation.

Building on the success of the Za:Za sofa, introduced in 2022, the Venetian design duo Zaven reinterprets the concept of comfort for the night-time environment, giving life to Za:Za Bed,  a bed with soft, sinuous lines that translates the signature comfort and tactile appeal of the original sofa into a new dimension dedicated to rest.

Available in two versions, Za:Za Bed 1751 and Za:Za Bed 1750 (featuring an integrated container unit), the bed reflects the same design philosophy as the sofa, merging an essential aesthetic with a focus on material sustainability.

The headboard and base are made of MDF and padded with regenerated and regenerable polyester spheres, while both inner and outer covers are crafted from fully removable regenerated polyester fabric. The storage version includes a practical lift-up mechanism for the bed base, seamlessly integrated to preserve the light, fluid design of the piece.

Alongside Za:Za Bed, Zanotta renews its collaboration with the Belgian duo Muller Van Severen, launched in 2024, presenting three new chests that expand the Z24 collection of sideboards, cabinets and bedside tables. These new pieces play with form and colour through dynamic, expressive geometries, marking a further step in the exploration of the iconic zig-zag motif.

The three new models (Z24/785, Z24/786 and Z24/787) reinterpret the graphic motif in a horizontal configuration, enriching the collection with new proportions and compositional possibilities. The pieces are available in three sizes — 56×128 cm, 120×86 cm and 160×65 cm — and in a palette of hues ranging from talc and caramel to amaranth, meadow green and black, adding rhythm and personality to any interior.

The new products integrate seamlessly into a collection that, while maintaining stylistic continuity, gives each piece its own distinct identity. The interplay between coherence and contrast enhances the expressive power of Z24, a collection capable of transforming and enriching any setting — from living areas to the night zone — with furniture that combines functionality and character in perfect harmony.

The renewed collaboration with Muller Van Severen and the ongoing partnership with Zaven underscore Zanotta’s ability to engage with leading voices in international design, blending tradition and experimentation to create collections that interpret the many facets of contemporary living. Together, Za:Za Bed and Z24 embody a refined balance of comfort, colour and design, reaffirming the brand’s vocation for innovation while remaining true to its distinctive identity.

ABOUT MULLER VAN SEVEREN
Muller Van Severen was founded in the early Spring of 2011. With both Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen being artists, it’s natural that their collections sit somewhere between design and art.
